Collection: Scarlett Poppies

Scarlett Poppies was founded in 2019 by Linda Augustsson, a Swedish creative director who has spent much of the past two decades working in India's textile industry. The brand brings together Scandinavian shapes and a pared-back, easy femininity with traditional Indian embroidery and craftsmanship, resulting in resort and ready-to-wear pieces built from natural fabrics such as cotton, linen, silk and viscose. The collection ranges from dresses and tops to kimonos and kaftans, each one shaped for comfort as much as for occasion, and finished with the kind of hand-worked detail that comes from working closely with skilled artisans rather than mass production. The name itself traces back to Linda's Scandinavian childhood, and a lifelong fondness for the wild red poppies that grew across the fields where she grew up.
